  7. If you're trying to select only the side polygons of say, an extruded
  8. logo or text, you can lasso the front faces and lasso the back faces
  9. from the side view and then hit the " key (shift single quote) to
  10. reverse the selection.
  11. This also gets around the problem you have if you try to select the
  12. side polys based on their point count (4) where you also get the faces
  13. of any four-point "I"'s.
  14. If your extrusion has bazillions of polys, drag-selecting with the
  15. mouse will probably miss a few unless you make several passes.
